Dell inspiron 9400 processor upgrade

I have a Dell Inspiron 9400 laptop with the T2250 processor. I am interested in upgrading it so I can run 64bit. However, I have confused myself over the options. What do I need to look for when it comes to compatible processors? Recommendations?

Most members would probably recommend that you safe yourself the major league hassle of trying to put a new cpu in a laptop and just buy a new laptop. Unless you consider yourself to be an expert of sorts with computers, it just isn't worth it. Save up and by yourself a new laptop.
