Hey guys,

I recently upgraded my graphics card.My old one was a AMD Radeon HD 6570 and now the new one is a Diamon AMD Radeon HD 7770 Ghz Edition.I've done everything correctly(Installing the card+Installing the latest driver from the website),but whenever I start any game up,it would play for about 3-4 seconds, freeze and crash the game.Sometimes it even restarts the computer.

My PC Specs are:

Windows 7 Ultimate(64 bit)
Diamon AMD Radeon HD 7770
4GB Ram
AMD Athlon X2 250 3.0Ghz Processor
500W Power supply(Yes it does have a 6 pin cable for the graphics card)

Any help would be appreciated. :)

Thanks.

Nope,no sound at all.Only sound I get is the PC restarting sound >.< and yes,I've tried that many times:Uninstalling the drivers and re-installing them again(Express mode).

Then it is the gpu that is faulty. Most of the time game freeze due to gpu issue.

@ akshayghai29785, Is it happen while gaming? If your driver is up to date then its the faulty gpu.

Negative.I went to the store where I got the card from, explained them the issue and they exchanged it with another one.Came home with the new one, installed it.Still the same problem.

Yep,I just did, uninstalled the 7770's drivers, shut down my pc.Took it out,put my 6570 in,started, installed latest driver, restarted. Results: Works fine. No problems with this one

I have a HD 7770 too, and I can tell its a great card! :)

In this case, I can probably think that it could be a Accidental Overclock of the GPU or the PCI-E slot.
Or it could just be a bad Power Supply. (It has to be very bad since I have a 300W PSU using a 6-Pin adapter and it works fine)

Overclocking isn't done in Windows, it is done in the BIOS. But assuming what you told me, you shouldn't had gone in the BIOS anyway...
Then I can only suppose that you have a bad Power Supply...

I would be surprised...really.I also checked the minimum requirements for this card.It sais it needs a 450W power supply at least. So I don't really think it would be my power supply the problem.
