Hey guys, I got a crypto mining virus on my PC and and after realizing, I quickly removed it and ran multiple virus tests and did Windows updates. But after restarting the PC, as soon as Windows and the GPU driver loads, the monitor loses the signal.

But booting in Safe Mode works no problem.

I tried DDU and restarted again and logged in normally, then tried reinstalling the GPU driver, but as soon as the driver is installed the screen loses signal. Could the virus have potentially screwed my GPU?
Did the virus somehow leave something behind that is messing with me? I am stumped. 😕

I cannot tell for sure, my GPU was running at maximum for couple of days but I was gaming so I did not notice, until when I quit the game and it was still at 100% use. MalwareBytes found and removed the virus. I did already try the reset windows option from the recovery options and nothing changed. Would a full disk wipe and fresh windows install be the next best option?
