Hi,

Question regarding upgrading my RAM.
Originally I built my system with 2x2GB 1600MHz CAS 8-8-8-24 1.35V DDR3 GSkill modules. Like these, just CL8:

Recently I purchased another set of GSkill memory, this time 2x4GB 1600MHz CAS 8-8-8-24 1.5V DDR3. This one:

My question: is it OK to mix these two on my motherboard or am I better of just using the newer set?

Thx for any help!

Link to first memory says CAS9 at 1.35 volts. That means that at 1.50 volts, there is a really good chance that at 1.50 volts, they will run at CAS8.

Running both sets at 1.50 volts and CAS8 should work.
