CPU: I5-3210M

dGPU: Radeon 7670M

iGPU: Intel HD Graphics 4000

RAM: 4GB

HDD: 320GB

Hey lads, so, i have this oldie Samsung NP350v4c from 2012 that has this pretty annoying issue i've tried to fix for days. For example, when i run a game called People Playground with the 7670m, fps are around 20-25, but with the hd 4000 iGPU it's about 55-60 fps, and it is not only with that game, i've tried switching with other games and it happens too.

So here is what i've tried:

-Installing original amd drivers from Samsung's website (Catalyst)

-Installing most recent drivers from amd's website (Crimson)

-Uninstalling anything amd driver related with DDU

-Changing power plan to High Performance both on windows and the radeon control center

-Checking BIOS if there is anything related to switchable graphics, nothing

What i've noticed:

-While testing with a game and using HWmonitor i noticed that the gpu was using only 20-35%

-Gpu temps are between 45-50 celcius, Cpu between 55-65 while gaming.

Pretty sure it is not that the dGPU is weaker than the iGPU, checked someone else playing TF2 with the exact same specs with the 7670m and it ran at least 10% better than when using the hd 4000 (

What performance do you get in team fortress?

can you run userbenchmark and post the results please?

Hello, kinda already made a post around here about this problem, but now i have more info on it. So, anyways, i got this 2012 Samsung NP350V4C with this issue that has been tickling my shamaroos for a while; the amd discrete gpu runs terribly (fps wise) , having barely some usage, but when i switch to the intel integrated, usage is almost maxed most of the time + fps are far better. Here is a video of me testing with this game called People Playground:

What i've tried:

-Formatting everything and reinstalling W10

-Formatting everything and installing W7 (right now i'm back on w10)

-Uninstalling drivers with DDU then reinstalling

-Installing drivers from Samsung's website

-Installing drivers from the amd website, tried both catalyst (15.7.1) and crimson (16.2.1 beta) versions

-Changing power plan to High Performance both on windows and the radeon control center/catalyst software suite (powerplay)

-Checking BIOS if there is anything related to switchable graphics, nothing

-Built-in windows ram check showed no errors

-UserBenchmark: https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/48768567

-Catalyst Settings (not sure, but i think there are some options that are missing in there): View: https://imgur.com/a/TeuSXZa

So yeah, this has been awful, help me lads :(
