DIY Project: Case Riser/Feet

Hey all,

My rig sits in a CM HAF 922 on a carpeted floor, and I am hoping to bring down the ambient temps a little bit by raising it off the floor by 2-3" so I can install a fan in the bottom grill directed inwards for some additional positive pressure. A quick look at Newegg and Frozen CPU does not show much beyond replacement feet.

For those of you with your cases on the floor, what do you use--or what would you suggest--to keep the case slightly elevated for better airflow?

A couple of scraps of 2X4 wood work nicely.

I'd agree with delroy to ensure that it actually does what you expect it to, and then do it properly.
