[SOLVED] do i have to install every BIOS update?

I'm running into some troubles with my USB ports (the mouse keeps disconnecting and reconnecting ) I've reinstalled my graphics drivers, used a different mouse, updated my chipset drivers and so I wanted to update my BIOS to see if that can fix it. The one thing I'm confused about now is the order in which I have to install the updates. I'm currently on F31 does that mean I can just jump to F50 or would I have to install every update up to F50? Also, what do you guys recommend if the BIOS update doesn't work and my USB problem continues?

Ubuntu should help rule out OS, drivers, malware etc.

Check cpu/gpu temps and test ram with memtest.

Run userbench website and link to results page.

List entire pc specs please, brands and models of everything.

Not used driver booster or similar?
No don't need to install every bios version. There are some exceptions with some brands requiring a step by step prior to updating the latest, particularly architectural changes, but that will be clearly noted.

Can try update but if usb used to work, it's not something bios update will fix.

Try boot Ubuntu on usb stick and see if symptoms persist.

Are all usb ports affected?

no, only the one the mouse is plugged into but at one point my computer did freeze and all the USB ports went out.
