This device really is a form of passive USB2 Hub, except that it operates on both ports of a header and had outputs in the form of mobo headers instead of like a common external USB2 Hub with Type A ports. That means that all of the devices plugged into this have to share the data transfer capabilities of the original two USB2 ports of the mobo header. This is NOT a problem when you are using it for several low-speed devices like keyboards, mice, or communication with ARGB lighting control devices as you are trying to do.
