In my current rig I have an Amd Ryzen 5 2600, 16gb of 3ghz Ram and 550w 80+ Bronze Psu. The card I’m using atm is a Gtx 1660 ti.

Will those components be good enough for the Gtx 3070?

Solution
I would not put a 3070 on a 550w PSU but that is just me. However a 650w 80+ bronze rated EVGA or something along those lines then you will be ok. What resolution you play at? If 1080p then don't upgrade. If 2k then it will be a good upgrade and later on when you upgarde CPU you will get a much higher frame rate and what not. 💯☮😲✝🤷‍♀️
Well, about another 100W, so the PSU is probably okay.

Nothing really, a faster CPU couldn't hurt.

Really depends on your monitor (hertz), intended resolution. If you are going for high FPS then you will want more CPU, if you want maximum image quality, like 4K, then just upgrade monitor.

I should add, if neither is your goal, don't spend your money. What is your gaming experiencing lacking that the RTX 3070 will help with? Ray tracing being the big advancement, otherwise just a more then double the speed GPU for you.

Not necessarily, depends on the exact model. EVGA puts their name to some real turds as well as some good units.
Yes you are correct on that, thanks for putting that in...🙏I believe the EVGA 650w G5 Bronze 80+ is out now as it is new. That will do the job but its a budget friendly PSU. I certainly wouldn't put it on certain consumer builds like a 10900k with a 2080Ti or a 3090Ti. Alto the EVGA PSU will power up and everything is ok, it is just me that the PSU is the heart of it all, without it you have no rig as it powers on everything and gives juice to components and what not. I just would getting a 100 dollar or less PSU and put it on a 10900k and 3090 build. I rather go quality and fully modular at least 1000watt. 🤷‍♀️😲✝

I have a 144hz 1080p monitor and am going for fps.
Also my gaming experience lacking the RTX 3070 is not having a constant 144fps on games like Apex Legends, Cod Warzone, Modern Warfare, Rainbow Six Siege, Far Cry and many other titles
