Hi everyone,
Just ordered a new wireless network card, the Asus PCE-AC68. This is because sincing moving into a new house my PC is getting awful download speeds compared to other devices in the same room on wireless, so i figured i'd invest in a top of the range wireless card (until i move the router into the bedroom and go wired)
This got me thinking, which PCI express slot should a wireless card be installed in? and could this be contributing to the slow download speeds i am receiving on my current card? either way, i'm happy to be getting a new card that is dual band, but i want to make sure i install it in the correct slot.
My motherboard is an Asus Maximus VII Hero and the diagram of my motherboard is here

Many thanks.
