Hi guys, sorry I'm not really an expert but I was thinking of upgrading to a new GPU (the RX 580) and I wanted to make sure that I don't buy It for nothing so I'd like to know if my PSU has a pin connector for the GPU, and how it's made cause apparently I can't seem to find it (so maybe It doesn't even have one)
This is the PSU model: http://www.tacens-anima.com/power-supplies/apii600/

In the specs listed on the product page, it doesn't include any type of PCI-e power connector.

Under any circumstances, I would recommend buying a better quality PSU, to provide better reliability and also to protect the rest of your hardware from potential damage caused by a poor quality PSU

Its the best within his budget. Maybe between that and the S12iii but tbh RSY scares me. The other options are like gamemax, xilence, and cooler master garbage.

I don't typically recommend units that are group regulated like the BR iirc, but he doesnt have many options. Only other name brand one is a W1 which is even worse.

The issue is that something i would normally reccomend like a Corsair CX450 or heck even a lesser unit like a CV costs nearly twice his budget, which isnt an easy stretch.

What would be a good GPU that does not require external power? I need one to pass the time during the quarantine, and I've been """gaming"""" with a 710 for a bit now, God it is so bad but It's the most powerful gpu I've ever had, sad I know.
Update: I decided I'll be patient and buy a good PSU and then save for a new GPU. Thanks a lot to everyone that helped.

Depending on costs, you may be able to cut costs by finding a used RX570 or RX480 instead of an RX580. The performance for the money is very very strong and not too far behind an RX580.

Then that would allow more money for a PSU.

But if you can bear with the GT710 for awhile, it may be worthwhile to wait till corona settles down.
