Does SLI support imply crossfire support?

Hi,
I am debating buying OCZ GameXStream OCZ700GXSSLI ATX12V 700W since it is on sale at Fry's. I would like to know, because I am such a noob, if SLI support, which is what this PSU advertises, mean that it will support crossfire? I am running on the P5W DH Deluxe, so crossfire is a must. Thanks for your inputs.

No necessarily, if you want to X-Fire some R600, might not be enough.
Tell us about what's you card and what you plan on Xfiring at some point. And the whoel system with Oc and all

Hi,
Of course, why did I forget to mention.

CPU: E6600
GPU: Saphire X1900GT x2
PSU: OCZ GameXStream OCZ700GXSSLI ATX12V 700W
RAM: 1GB x 2 OCZ PC6400
3 HDD's
2 DVD drives

I can for sure run this system with 1 graphic card.
I just dont know if SLI and Cross fire support really means the same thing in terms of power consumption.
THanks.

Hi,
Thank you for noticing the duplicate thread, it has been deleted.
I currently have the Thermaltake Toughpower 700w PSU on another system exactly like this one and was wondering if one is better than the other. Do you know about the performances of these 2?
