I am receiving the following error under events.

I have posted this b4 and they say it's probably a hardware problem. That
it was a CD hardware problem. When this erro occurs threw out the day I am
not even using the CD drive.
Is there any free hardware software test product I can download and run to
tell me where the problem is. I have tried different things and have been
working on it for over a week.

Thanks
Rick

Have you taken a look here:

http://eventid.net/display.asp?eventid=9&eventno=2060&source=atapi&phase=1

There you should find some information about the problem and some possible
solutions. I'd seriously consider double checking the jumper status on the
drives.

I have never taken the cover off of the PC. So no jumpers were changed.

If this error message occurs just a few times with each
cold start of the computer, then it is not too unusual.
The timeout setting is an arbitrary one and some devices
do not report quick enough to the polling. Usually OK to
ignore if the device is working normally in all respects.
