Hello
For the past two months, I've been facing this issue where my PC randomly restarts without blue screens. This doesn't create any dump files.
Restarts happen even under light loads, such as only one tab opening on chrome watching twitch. CPU usage <10% no notable background apps opened either.
Neither the cpu and the gpu is overheating.
Never faced this issue during my first several months of having this computer.
Here are the solutions that I tried:

  • Disabling fast startup and setting the pc to high performance.
  • Updating all the drivers and OS, as well as the bios.
  • Removing rgb softwares.
  • Disabling XMP and cpu/gpu overclock.

PC doesn't crash using the power test in osst.

PC specs:
i9-12900k
msi rtx 3090 suprim x
gskills ddr5 6000c36
z690 aorus tachyon
corsair mp600 pro 2tb
corsair hx1200

All the parts were bought BRAND NEW during December of 2021.

Try going into bios and under exit reset the motherboard to original/optimal settings. See if this changes anything. Have you run sfc /scannow ? If not check that also.
Thanks for your suggestion.
I have tried both the sfc scan and the DISM one.
Just did the optimized settings in my bios. Hopefully this is the one!

Try going to system, advanced system settings, advanced tab, startup and recovery, system failure, make sure automatically restart is unchecked. Try using just one stick of ram for a while and see if problem persists. Try using Nvidia gpu driver 472.12 and do not install geforce experience. This driver is the last one before they added all the studio and other junk. See if this helps at all.
