I get small fps drops like 1-2 fps and every game just freezes. For example in every game i play i get consistent 60 fps but every 2-3 min ill drop 2-3 fps and the game will just freeze for a second.
This has happened in: God Of War 2018,Star Wars Jedi fallen Order, Assassins Creed Origins.
My specs are;
MSI B450M-A PRO MAX II
Sapphire Pulse Rx 7600
Ryzen 5 5600x
16 Gb ddr4 3200mhz ram(single channel)(XMP Profile 1 enabled)
Kingston NV2 1TB m.2 2280 NVMe Internal SSD
Chieftec EON 600W PSU.

-I updated my BIOS to the newest version
-Reinstalled Clean Drivers on everything
-Enabled XMP profile 1 in BIOS

My question is what could be causing this and is there any way to fix it?

well, you can't state that a system is a "good gaming PC" if it can't even run the games you want to play without issue.

maybe, "should be a good gaming PC".
-Reinstalled Clean Drivers on everything
what do you mean?

you used an app called "Clean Drivers" or you actually downloaded them yourself from the manufacturers' support pages?
Chieftec EON 600W...

haven't had any personal experience with the EON series but appears to be a rather low rated model.

could very well be that it cannot handle the strain of gaming with the RX 7600.

Hi so i ran msi afterburner and Riva Tuner Statistics server and while i'm gaming my system is not overheating in any sort of way i can rule that out. Secondly by "Clean Drivers" i meant i reinstalled my gpu drivers with ddu. Also my issue is that my pc runs the games at a stable fps but seemingly out of nowhere fps drops and freezes happen.
About the psu is there any way i can benchmark it or see if it is bottlenecking the other parts of my pc.
Thanks for your reply

How full is your ssd?
16 Gb ddr4 3200mhz ram - is that a single stick of ram?
Windows 11? The December update caused some issues apparently but you can try a workaround.

Hi my ssd has 930 gb in total and i have 733 free. Also its a single stick of ram and yes i am running on windows 11.
I have a quick question if you wouldn't mind.
can a bad HDMI cable cause these sorts of problems because my hdmi cable is hella old
could it like not be transferring the inputs fast enough to the monitor or something like that

Doesn't sound like a faulty HDMI cable to me (but they're very cheap to buy new if you have doubts; Edit: many years ago I had stuttering type issues caused by a very long HDMI cable).
Single stick of ram is going to be contributing to your problems, maybe not all of them.
Consider the workaround for the December Windows 11 update.
Good luck!

The AMD graphics chips provide a lot more bang for the buck than the Nvidia chips but the drivers are known to have significant problems. It is for that reason many people choose to spend more for a Nvidia card so they can use the more stable Nvidia drivers.
