Hey everyone,
my PC froze all of a sudden today. When trying to turn it back on, the CPU LED flashed for about half a second, then switched to the DRAM LED for about three seconds before the LED turns off. The PC then runs for about 10-20 seconds before shutting down and doing the same thing again. The fans are also a little bit louder for about the duration of the LEDs being on. There is no signal on the monitor and my keyboard and mouse also don't light up.
Because of this happening again, similar to problems on the past, I tried resetting the CMOS, which didn't work this time. The CPU wasn't removed after the freeze. Switching the RAM only resulted in the two aforementioned LEDs either blinking one after another or the DRAM LED being on the entire time. I now have only one of the sticks inserted.
The mentioned start-up process is more or less identical to a normal boot before the freeze, with the exception that the fans aren't quite as loud and that the PC obviously doesn't restart after the LEDs turn off.
Here are my specs:
CPU: Intel Core i7 (don't specifically remember which one, prob. integrated graphics though)
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB
Motherboard: B360M Bazooka
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 2x8GB 2666MHz
I hope you can help me with my problem! I bought the MSI PC prebuilt, should anyone ask.
Greetings, Kibarl
