I don't build computers very often.

I am a bit troubled with my PC shown as under performing.

Also wondering if the heat is well controlled as per the stress tests images that can be seen in the links.

What do you think of the cable management? Did I do an okay job?

(I think I noticed from one pic a fan connection might be lose. I ll double check that later)

Nice build!
User benchmark is only good for information.
Their comparisons are a joke.
Your system seems to be running just as it should.
Their benchmark comparisons include heavily overclocked systems.
So compared to them you are under-performing. But compared to similar stock systems you are doing good.

That's good to know . I was wondering if I should use the Intel extreme tuning utility to automatically overclock the CPU

That would be a decision you have to make.
If performance is good run it as is.
If you feel you need more give it a try.
