It always does that. Although compared to just a few months ago, this is killer production. (we were making on like 130k to 140k ppd) Although thats to be expected. During the winter time in the northern Hemisphere, PPD averages across all teams tend to increase. Mainly due to the fact some want to keep there house warm.

F@H just happens to give that multipurpose use for a computer to be used as a heater and to save lives.

Errrrrrrm don't you mean "Darn you and your 2 460's", ooops did I say that out loud. :finger:

I'd wish i have some more news about when Client v7 coming around although all i keep hearing about lately is BigAdv WU's (which unless im mistaken, no one on this team works on them) and Single Core Wu's :pt1cable:

Don't they recommend 8 cores+ for that? Whats forceasm??

Also, Woot! [:aford10:7]

Got a silver cpu badge! Didn't even know that i was close. Then again, i really dont pay much attention to the ranking system [:graywolf:5]

Don't know what that means but nice 1. [:bohleyk:1]

Yes (or a really fast core i7 up in the 3.8 to 4 GHz range 😉 )

[:lectrocrew:7] Now i see why you said that. Dumb dumb me forgot that the UK severs dont show the badges from the US forums even though there connected.

On UK severs all you see is this.

On the the US severs, Here what i see.

It's amazing that were can see and reply to threads and comment on each others forums but yet cant see Stats like badges and hammers. :sarcastic:

Those folding stats are ridiculous. :ouch:

Why is the forum like that then, another example is when I couldn't upload pics etc until I switched to the North American server. :heink:

If I select the North American flag I still don't see your badge.

Keep an eye on the address bar, you may be getting redirected back to the UK server when you enter a forum section but staying on the US server when on the forum root.

I don't get a pop-up just the flags at the top, seems ok in the members section but like MM said it changes when I switch to forums to .co.uk. Hopefully the software update will sort it, just means I can't see warmons badge..

Herr_Koos has a hammer???

He might need to clear is Browser cache to get that 😉

Just decided to start folding with my CPU again. Decided to overclock it to 3.6 for some extra points, and everything has been running fine, except I just got an error on an a3 core which caused it to shut down. Does anyone know what might cause that? First time it has error'd, so it must be due to the overclock.

The server must be able to tell your location from the ip address, maybe if you bounce it through a US server before it gets to Tom's server you'll have better luck. 😀

did you increase the vcore?

If you didn't increase the vcore, then you'll probably need to increase it (if the heat is not an issue) as thats the only thing i can guess of.

Just to make sure the overclocking is stable, Run the Intel burn test program to make sure it's stable overclock. it the only stress program that i know of that test FPU. Prime 95 only stresses the (integer i do belive it's called.)( I cant believe that im forgeting the most commonly used section of the cpu name. )

What ever Prime 95 stress, Folding@home doesn't use as it used the FPU.

Anyways, Glad your back on the fold. :)
