I played around with it a little and it seems I am getting my max clock speed at around 64C and below. So I have the fan control set to come up to 40% at 65C. I wonder if it's time to try another 10% boost?

I see "overclock fever" setting in with this one gentlemen.
What shall we do??????? 😀

Encourage and infect him more ,or warn of the dangers of lost points and sleep as you tinker into all hours of the night.........

Yeah I would crank it up and set a custom fan curve instead of a fixed rate speed.
Some work units produce a lot more heat than others. So you want the fan to ramp up with temps.
Play with it a little until you find a nice quiet curve that keeps you in boost mode temperatures.

OMG what have I done??????

Watercooling, yes. I initially built this computer with a Swiftech 240X, but it started leaking after a couple of months. But anyway, that was a CPU cooler, so it doesn't count now, does it? Water cooling is in my future, but not right away.

So I have set a good fan curve and my clock and temps are stable. GPU usage is ~97-99%, 59C, 1447MHz. Tomorrow, another 10 MHz. I wonder at what point I'll have to start tinkering with the voltage?

Well I just quickly bunged it in the old DFI that was on the test bench and they didn't seem to get on so I've now switched that mobo for something slightly newer and its just about to fire up.
