I haven't updated yet, I have updates totally disabled, do we think the issues have been sorted yet??

I ran into the same issue as BadActor, but otherwise everything else has appeared fine.

In case anyone else runs into this, I started getting an error that my F@H client couldn't load because OpenCL.dll was missing from my computer. This occurred right after installing the the Windows 10 Anniversary update. To fix, I went into C:/windows.old/System32 and copied the file and pasted to the new Windows directory. Got a feeling this is the same type of thing affecting other people after upgrading, particularly with Steam games.

Great call BadActor, just copied the old file from the System32 folder.

Had a look online and seems there are some extremely complex solutions to the problem, luckily I tried yours 1st 😉

Requesting solution to a problem:

Folding @ home creates stuttering while watching Twitch video. When I watch someone stream a video game, the video motion is noticeably "jerky". In the past I hadn't experienced this, but now I do. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I view Twitch videos in Google Chrome, and I have the Folding app set to "medium" power. Thank you in advance for any input.

Dunno if it's being decoded by your CPU cores or GPU. If it's on the CPU, then maybe reducing the number of cores folding would help. If it's on the dedicated GPU, that's more of a problem. Not sure what you'd do then, apart from maybe turning off hardware acceleration in the browser (which should move it onto the CPU).

+Sakkura Thanks for bringing up a good point that I neglected to mention. I only fold on the GPUs, not on the CPU.

I've just turned off hardware acceleration in my Chrome browser and that appears to have done the trick. Thank you for the suggestion.

It's curious that I didn't have this issue in the past with hardware acceleration. Either something on my system changed, or perhaps a Chrome update relies more heavily on the GPU than previously. No idea. Thanks again.

Could just be the variations in demand from the different wu's.

Try and keep a record of the wu's that effect things the most and if others don't.

But if u have solved the issue maybe not

My "earned points" have been frozen at "59,661,493" for approximately the past 24 hours? Does anyone know how to solve this? I've already uninstalled / reinstalled the application to no effect. I been folding consistently but I have zero additional points logged today as recent as 9:05 EST.

It looks like the stats server is down. It has nothing to do with your install. You will receive all of your points in one update when it comes back online. If you go back to Sept. 5 it did the same thing.

Yea, I have been trying to get Sailer to come back, for awhile now. He told me not that long ago, that he was switching systems over.

Looks like BHolland has some new hardware😍

I had to completely re-install my f@h client and gpu drivers, a bad wu sent everything haywire.

Its happened before, the unit downloads and runs but the gpu runs @430mhz, weird.
