Question Freesync not working properly ?

As the title says, my freesync isn't working properly on my 24GM79G-B 144hz monitor. It makes the screen flicker or makes the game tear even worse with it enabled.

List of things i've tried to solve the issue:

• Reinstalling drivers multiple times
• Disabling fullscreen optimizations
• Limiting my fps manually to 141 with RivaTuner
• Limiting my fps in game

I'm using the displayport cable that came with the monitor.
It's been an issue from day 1.

It would be helpful if you'd list the exact model numbers of all your hardware. Graphics card, CPU, motherboard, memory, power supply, storage drives, etc.

It might also be a good idea to try a different DP cable.
