Hi Guys, I'm planning to build a full ARGB (addressable) desktop. But i don't know what parts to choose to build to make it very good looking, to impress my friends. My budget is SGD1000 ($686USD) without monitor and peripherals.

Solution
Your budget really isn't that high and you'll end up sacrificing quite a bit of performance to make it look pretty.

Now if you already had a solid build and had that money to make it look great then that's another story...

This is what I came up with for your build & aesthetics wants.

CPU.

Rest of the build.

Motherboard: Gigabyte B450M DS3H Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard ($72.99 @ Newegg)
Memory: Team T-FORCE VULCAN Z 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory ($69.99 @ Newegg)
Storage: Kingston A400 480 GB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($59.99 @ Newegg)
Video Card:...
Hit up PC part picker. But, will RGB impress the friends or a rig that can perform? What does RGB matter if you don't have performance? A sweet case and tastefull RGB can go far!

NZXT has some pretty nice stuff as well as almost all motherboard vendors with RGB ports right off the motherboard. RGB can get spendy quick. For the same price of a good lighting kit, you can easily upgrade your CPU or even GPU to the next performance level in some cases.

So, before you decide on RGB, what is your build? Build it out on pcpartpicker.com and toss a link in the comments. Community can help you from there here at Tom's hardware.

There's enough fans to fill every spot on that case (6 total) so it should look like unicorn vomits if the fans go through color cycle.

If we disregard the flashy stuff you get a NVMe 1TB SSD, better motherboard (has wifi/Bluetooth) and a better GPU.

1600 AF.
