I bought a new laptop G713PI-DB94 (240hz)
I'm trying to connect it to my monitor GN276HL (144hz)

Using HDMI I only get 60hz.
Using USB-C (the Display port/Thunderbolt port) I still only get 60hz.

How can I get my full refresh rate? Nothing I do is working. My old PC worked to get my monitor to 144h, but any laptop I use refuses to go above 60hz.

only the dual link DVI support 144

section 4.5.
I did read through that and I did see that I needed a Dual-Link. Does it have to be one with a Type-C male to DVI female or can it be a Type-C male to DVI male?

I see ones as a straight cable, and others that ae basically a dongle

I got a couple, but I keep getting green dots all over. Would this issue be easier to resolve if I just buy a newer monitor that has 144hz compatibility and just do a connection through that? Or anything above 60hz needs dvi when connecting to a laptop?
