Ever since I upgraded to Ryzen back in 2017 I have had crazy problems with games crashing. Battlefield 1 is unplayable, and even basic games like fortnight and minecraft crash (though less often, which may be useful information). As you can probably tell by the fact that I haven't yet fixed this I don't play very often because of school work and am out of ideas as to what is causing the problem. recently I also had repeated crashes using editing software as well (Sony Movie Studio 13).

Anyone who can help me diagnose the problem or find a solution would be much appreciated. At this point I'm pretty sure the issue lies with the motherboard or cpu but I'm not very well versed in this kind of thing.
