Question Good specs although slow when playing certain games.

My PC Specs are not that bad, although when playing certain games like PUBG, Rust, No Man's Sky, etc. my fps tend to drop and my screen freezes for a few seconds. I've checked for malware and updated all my drivers.

PC Specs:
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB (MSI)
Intel Core i5 @ 3.00GHz
ASRock B250M-HDV
2x8GB RAM (don't remember the exact model)

Run coretemp or cpu-z or speccy or just go to control panel/system/about and tell us the whole model of your cpu.
There are i5 CPUs that are 15 years old.

My mistake, I thought I included the model. It's an Intel Core i5-7400
