So far the PC has been running well but I only just recently started to try and play video games on it. I just bought GTAV and am experiencing some major issues. I have MSI afterburner installed (I know laptops arent fully supported, but its better than nothing), and I'm seeing that my GPU is like locked at speed of 300mhz even though the factory core speed is 960mhz. I have attached a screenshot of the data I get from MSI Afterburner while in GTAV. All of my graphics settings were as low as I could put them, but even when they were on high-very high, the fps difference was only 3-5 fps. Ingame I cant seem to every reach over 20fps. I have V-Sync turned off, tried full screen, windowed, 60hz, 144hz.
I am not too familiar with the science behind GPUs and their speeds, but I have heard somewhere about load limits and temp limits. The temps I am reporting are sufficient to my knowledge and the usage of my CPU is decent and the GPU usage is always sub 10%.
Any advice on how to troubleshoot this would be greatly appreciated.
