Question GPU usage drops and becomes unstable

After playing a few minutes of an game , my gpu "crashes" and the frames drop from 120 stable to 40 very unstable

cpu: i7-9750hf
gpu: gtx 1650 laptop

Does any one know a solution?

Might be a driver issue. Use DDU to clean and then re-install the latest Graphics drivers.

I know it may be a hassle but this type of issue is difficult to troubleshoot. It happened to me once or twice and when I was unable to find a solution, I simply made a clean installation of Windows and the problem went away.
