GS724T switch

Hello!

I have some problem with my GS724T switch. When i start it and put a cable from it to my laptop nothing happens as it's a switch, but when i put another cable from my router into the switch ALL the lights on it lights upp and it reboots, after the reboot i get an IP from my router and everyting if normal for about 1 minute, then all the lights turn on again and it reboots.

The switch keeps doing this until i remove the router cable, anyone have any idea as to why it would do this ?

have you tried to reset the switch?

try turning off the switch before you connect the router

did that but the same problem is still there :/

does it reboot if it only connected to the router?

Yes, only when the cable to the router is connected it reboots itself.

Did you ever find a solution to this problem? I have exactly the same issue. My GS724T reboots about 20 seconds after you plug the router into it. Upon reboot, it's good for about 20-30 seconds, then it just reboots again.
