So you say gtx the 7950?

Also with new drivers that increase the performance on games now do you still recommend the 7950?

I guess you are talking about Nvidia cards, i think AMD cards are receiving good performance increase too.

It a hard one, GTX 660Ti or 7950............... if I went for either one will the MSI ones be the better brands?

It is a hard one, but the HD 7950 will have greater longevity. And definitely better overclockability. MSI generally has better coolers than XFX, but as long as you go for something with two or more fans, you're good.

I say the HD 7950. Due to the fact that the GTX 660 Ti's memory interface is low, 192 bits, comparing to HD 7950's 384 bits. When you turn on Anti-Aliasing, you will the a huge difference between the two cards when playing games, where as the HD 7950 is alot better. Also, as other people said, it's a very good overclocker, plus the improved drivers, that gives the HD 7950 better performance. Plus you get 3 games for free, I have no reasosn why I should get the GTX 660 Ti over the HD 7950.

I think I'll go with 7850 MSI twin fozer 3 one, why do you say it has longevity? Also I've never had a amd card, so what the drivers like and how do your download them?

Because it will never be memory-bottlenecked in any games. For a long time. It will run out of muscle and you'll want to upgrade before then. I doubt if you'll even get 2 good years of playing the latest games on High-Ultra with the GTX 660ti.

The drivers are fine, just not quite as feature-rich as Nvidia's. Head here: http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/Pages/index.aspx
