Hey guys i have a 300w psu from seasonic with 25a on 12v and I wanna get the gtx 760
And the minimum power supply for that is 500w and I was wondering if I could still get it because my system has only 1 hard drive(7200 rpm 500gb) Intel i5 3570s(65w), one small fan(cpu) and 2x4gb ram
if it is not safe what other gpu in the same price can i get for this psu?

Solution
what other gpu

If it really has to have 6-pin requirements, it's pretty much things like GTX 950, 6-pin versions of 1050 and similar things with no more than 90 W TDP.
Prefer s.th. that doesn't need 6-/8-pin connectors, like: the usual 750 Ti, GT 1030, the usual GTX 1050, low-profile-GTX 950... such have no more than 75 W TDP and even this is close to your critical max. GT 1030 and 750 Ti aren't going to offer lots of performance, but at least have just 30 & 60 W TDP respectively, being relatively acceptable with your PSU.
Even a 1060 and 1650 Super may be problematic with a 300 W PSU here. You do need a PSU upgrade, sooner or later.
This can help you (micro-atx motherboards have 3-5 less watts, and put cpu in 100% load...
