Were there any Mac users waiting for the Max port of Orange Box for the last 2.5 years? I have to imagine most HL fans already bought it and dual-booted to Windows. Still, most Steam sales are probalby for old games that are at a discounted price the buyers always meant to try but never did. There are bound to be plenty of Mac users in the category.

[citation][nom]joytech22[/nom]Lol!+1 because i also want Linux support (i dualboot and like Ubuntu )[/citation]
I +2 on linux haha,I was thinking the same thing. They should bring steam to linux.I know a lot of the core gamer scene would love that. Its the only thing that been holding me back from using linux is is terrible game support as its one of the main things I use my PC for...but Im sick all the windows BS.

[citation][nom]bonezy[/nom]I thought that, given the current state of Apple, the 1984 commercial was comically ironic. The Valve version of this commercial is just kind of depressing. Valve has always been so encouraging of the open source and modding community... and now they're developing for Apple. If the FCC were to make a platform, it'd be the Mac.[/citation]

What's funny is one of Valve's news items on Steam when they launch for the Mac was mentioning how great it is to have another "open platform" on Steam along side Windows.

I'm pretty sure that this might be a preview of some tech they may be using in HL2 Ep 3... The shadows are different than HL2 Ep3, textures seem better, but the lighting is simply fantastic.

But I'm glad anybody who dropped 2 grand on a mac-book pro can at least know what they have been missing for half a decade.

Ok, I am going to post this comment without reading anything but the title and see how close I am.
- And some PC fanboy is going to say:
A. This is an old title on the PC so whats the big news here
B. But Macs can't play Crysis
c. I can't wait to frag all dumb Mac players who know nothing about gaming
D. All of the above
E. None of the above
F. Something else
=)
