Question HDD making strange beeping noise

I recently installed a new SSD, I removed my existing HDD and did a fresh install of windows 10 onto the SSD and then connected my HDD, formatted it and now it has 0 data as i just wanted it as spare storage.

For some reason, my HDD makes this strange noise every few minutes and i have no idea why?

beep or clicks on a wd drive is a sign the drive on it last legs. if it under warranty i would rma the drive.

Its a seagate drive, used it for like 5 years and all of a sudden, after installing a new ssd, it just makes this noise every few minutes?

I think it also turns itself off every so often, bc I here it spinning up as if I've just booted my pc

run seatools and read the disk smart info see if there any errors.
