I google searched them. Seem to have a good rating at http://www.resellerratings.com/store/Xotic_PC

I also talked to a sales rep at Xoticpc a few days ago about the availability of the ASUS G73JH-A1. He told me it could be a month or more to send me one if I pre-ordered now. Their forums had people guessing at the number of people waiting and had estimated at least 60 of 120 were still waiting. The sales person said they actually have about 8x the volume moving on that computer as what the forums there were guessing. I think I remember him saying the delays from ASUS were due to supply delays in getting enough Blu-ray drives.

I then looked around and decided a computer based on the Clevo W870CU would have all the juicy graphics card and high-res screen goodness without sacrificing the port and expansion options. Also the graphics cards support the plugin standard MXM 3.0, Type B, so theoretically it could be upgraded later without having to buy a whole new laptop. But then I was badly disappointed when I saw pictures of the keyboard. I live on my laptop and I'm very particular about having a standard full-size keyboard on my desktop replacement laptop. But the Clevo "cheaped-out" (IMHO) and created a single keyboard that would fit in all their models regardless of size. Basically the slashed the last column of keys off the 10-key pad. Argh! I can't believe they did that. I have to believe they are losing sales because of it, but no one I've talked to is willing to acknowledge it. But if customers just go elsewhere without ever complaining about it then how would they know? The sales rep at Xoticpc confirmed in an email that there are no other keyboard options for Clevo based laptops -what a shame. I've owned both an older HP Pavilion 17" and a Dell Studio 17 and both had nice STANDARD keyboards. I don't get why manufacturers feel the need to mess with something so basic and important. I could understand it on a smaller computer, but not on one with a 17+" screen and plenty of width.

Other are talking about Xoticpc in this thread (seems a mixed bag):
