I currently have a Radeon 6450 graphics which is not good for gaming. I want to upgrade it but my computer only has 300w and i dont know whether i could upgrade my video card without change my power supply too. What is a normal video that could play games like League of Legends at mid settings with no lag. I dont want to change the power supply, i just want to get a better video card, but i dont know which one to get. It doesn't need to hella good, but good enough to watch 1080p movies and play games without lag. Please help and thank you

first of all what are your other pc specs?, and also to be honest it would be super worth it to spend $40 and get a good psu that will also help you for future upgrades.

+1

Get radeon 7750, it doesn't even require any pin connecters. It draws the power right from your MOBO.

I want best price video card that has good performance on games and watching 1080p videos. I have a price range up to $120. I dont know alot about computers. How do i find out if i could even replace or add a video card in my computer? Is there like an extra slot?

If you have a problem with power try switching to Nvidia some card have lower power consuption than others. Otherwise i'll stick to ATI radeon ones. Do not take requirements so hard, they always put higher value of power consuption than it realy needs. People have no problem with runing HD 7750 with 300W psu. But u need to be carefull, some psu-s are ***** bad and it's not worth pushing them to the limit. You can damage your PC. You should check your model of psu and tell us. But still it will be wise to buy new psu to avoid risk. You can find good cpu-s (let's say 600W) for good price! I'm sure you'll find something that fit with ur budget.
With upgraded psu you can also think about more powerfull cards HD 5850. The choise is yours. Sorry for my bad English. Hope you'll understand. 😀

yup 7750 is the best option although I would STRONGLY recommend a PSU upgrade since I'm not 100% sure that it will work even on a 300W since dell PCs are usually have the bare minimum spec PSU to run it.

Also the 7750 consumes about 20watts more than a 6450 so even if it runs fine it will be very close to the PSU's max power capabilities.

Or this one:

And i agree with jaideep. New PSU if you have enough money. Otherwise i think it will work with 300W psu without overclocking.
