So, I built a new computer about a month ago with the following components:

Motherboard - MSI X570 A Pro
CPU - AMD Ryzen 7 3700x
GPU - Radeon RX 5700

It worked fine for a couple weeks, but recently, it has had intermittent issues turning on and booting. When I push the power button, the fans turn on, and the mouse and keyboard lights light up, but sometimes it won't boot and leaves the displays on "no signal".
When it's not working, the EZ Debug lights on the motherboard go through the following steps: 1) CPU light on for about half a second 2) VGA+Boot lights flash simultaneously 3) Repeat.

Reading around online, it looks like if something is broken or missing it should just leave that light on, but instead it's cycling through those two stages repeatedly. Do any of you know what that means?

Is there anything specific I should try? It used to fail to boot only occasionally, but now it's taking 3-5 attempts per time I turn it on, and I'd really like to get to the bottom of it.

Solution
It almost sounds to me like it may be some sort of connection that is working it's way loose.

The first thing I would do is power down and reseat a few things.
.....especially the GPU in the slot and the plugs to the GPU.
I'd also reseat the memory and all the power plugs in the PSU (if it's modular).
....and while you're at it, I'd check the plugs to the drives etc.

Alright, I reseated the SSD, the GPU, the RAM, and I replugged in the power cables to everything and it just booted successfully twice in a row, which is better than it had been doing recently, so this seems like it worked. In taking out the GPU it felt like it might not have been snapped all the way in correctly, so I suspect that was the issue. Thank you!

Sounds good.

....and you're welcome.

Let's hope that's it.
