Help with no sound on Dell desktop PC

Hello,
Good day.I need to restore sound back to my Dell Dimension 4700 desktop PC.I do have noise from the ports.At wits'end for now.

Welcome.
First thing to do is going in to sound settings in control panel and make sure nothing is muted. Second step is entering BIOS/Setup and make sure that onboard sound is enabled.

* Check the volume Mute/Unmute.
* Check the volume on the speaker volume knob it's ON.
* Check if the speakers are connected to the correct port (Green Pin to Green Port)(use DTT).
* Please connect the speakers to the front audio port the one that has a HEADPHONE SIGN.
* Check if the speakers power led is on.
* Check the drivers in device manager.
* Update the Audio Driver and the BIOS.
* Ask if the issue occurs in a specific application.
* Try any other speakers or headphones.
