you have several things running that aren't necessary. I would download the free version mal-ware bytes, and run a scan. Also download hijack-this, and remove items that don't need to start at start-up.

yeah, but does that really justify my cpu jumping from 60-99 consistently?

Uh yeah, you have so many processes running, itunes related (bonjor,applemobildevicesupport,ituneshelper...etc) The RTHDCPL is an HD audio equalizer which I also have and takes up lotta ram and proc power.

-Technically when playing games, its safe and recommended to disable all processors for the (USER) except for explorer.exe and taskmngr.

-YOu can restart and all the processes will come back, NOTE**-= Do not touch network and system processes unless you are sure they aren't aren't nessary like applemobiledevice support.
