How can I figure out how much power my fan and hardrive use?
I want to upgrade my graphics card and want to know how much spare power I have for it.

Simply google the specs for your fans and HDs. For example, if you have a NF-A12 fan, Noctua's website says it uses 1.68W max. A Seagate 4TB 2.5" drive, for instance, would use 2.10W max during write according to Seagate's product manual on their website. A 3.5" drive would typically use a bit more power, say around 5W although at spinup it may use more.

In general, given the power needs of modern CPUs and GPUs, your fans and your hard drives are small potatoes. I wouldn't worry too much about it. I mean, unless you have 15 fans and 25 hard drives.
