Just finished my pc built, I work from home and want to have all important programs on my m.2 nvme and the games and stuff on my hard drive. But whenever I download steam or riot they go straight to my C drive.
Is there a way to where they get stored?
Also what programs do you recommend are a must store on fastest drive? (I game to pass time, I work from home so I need to have communication help to run quick (eg. microsoft teams, zoom, discord))
PC specs:
32 gb ram 3600
i9 10850k
no gpu
2tb hdd
1tb m.2 (c drive)

Solution
Uninstall Steam. When you reinstall it should give an option early in the process to change the installation folder to a different location. This goes for pretty much any program out there.
