Question How do I know if my CPU or RAM is bad?

When I turn on my PC, nothing shows up on the monitor. Even though all the case fans and CPU fans are all working, nothing posts.
I have already sent my motherboard back to ASUS and they said the problem cannot be duplicated, so it must be my CPU or RAM.

CPU: Intel core i3-8100
Motherboard: ASUS h370m prime plus CSM
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16gb (1x16gb) DDR4

Have you connected everything correctly and try another ram slot for your ram?

yeah, i have already checked if everything was plugged in correctly, tested my ram in all of the slots, but I only have one stick. Is there any way to troubleshoot ram with only one stick?

But my CPU was running at 70 degrees for long periods of time, so that could also be a cause of the problem
