[SOLVED] How do i set up the ethernet jacks in my walls in a new house?

We recently moved into a new townhouse, and ive been seeing some ethernet sockets in the walls around the rooms. I'd like to set them up so I could have a wired connection for my important devices that are upstairs. Keep in mind I'm completely inexperienced when it comes to this kind of thing.

First step is to find the location that all the ethernet wall jacks connect to. There should be some central location they all go back to.
