How to determine whether a motherboard is an ATX or BTX board based on CPU

Hello,
I wish to know how to dertime whether a motherboard is an ATX or BTX board, based on the CPU's loaction in relation to the expansion slots?

look between the expansion slots.

no sure which is which and that is what I need to determined based on the CPU and expansion slots of both ATX and BTX

The vast majority of motherboards are ATX.

Anyway, how to tell.
Lets assume the motherboard is sitting flat on a table and you are looking at it with the rear IO panel near you and the processor in a direct line away from you with the processor facing up. The expansion slots of an ATX board fan out to the right and BTX to the left.
