How to put your ip address in a acer

Hello, i have got an acer and got window 7 but need my ip address and know where to put it. Could you please help

It doesn't work that way.
You borrow your IP address from your Internet Service Provider ISP.

Exactly what are you trying to do?

Are you trying to connect this to the web and have an internal router or not? If you have an internal router then you need to find out the range you can select or use DHCP. If you don't have a router or a cable/dsl modem then you need to talk with your ISP on what IP you should be putting in there.
