Hello there! I have recently according a hp elitebook 8560w dual ram slot version aka the dual core version, I belive I found a thread on here where it said it can accept a nvidia quadro m2002m 4gb gddr5, and it didn’t state rather it had to be a dell bios or a hp bios on it. The one I have found on eBay is from a hp zbook would that work just fine on my elitebook? I’m how ever looking at getting the bigger hp elitebook 8770w 17” model as I can go up to a 1080ti mxm gpu.

it seems you have 4 options at your disposal, being the GTX965, Quadro K2000M, 2100M and K1100M.

Yes I’ve already read these, this doesn’t really tell me anything. I have how ever purchased a quadro m1200 for my hp elitebook 8560w and it didn’t work in the system, maybe because it was from a a dell laptop? But some of the videos I have seen on you tube which were poorly made I did see they got it working, where they just plugged it in and it worked. Mine didn’t do that it just beeped and beeped. Any other suggestions?

Hello.
As the link say, you can use ONLY 4 GPU's :
GTX965M MXM 4GB
Quadro K2000M MXM with 2GB
Quadro K2100M MXM with 2GB and
Quadro K1100M MXM with 2GB

So from that l.ist you don't have any of them. Instead you purchased a Quadro M1200.
It is possible that those cards are in the notebook bios so you can't add anything else.
On the other hand let's say that the card you bought is from the same family and it should work.
But what if the card is damaged ?
