Question I can't find any individual 5mm x 5mm heatsinks online ?

Hello all,

I noticed my motherboard mosfet chips get a little hot but they don't have any heatsinks.

I want to get some heatsinks for them but its very crowded in that area of my motherboard. So, I need individual 5mmX5mm heatsinks the height is not such an issue.

However, I can't find any of this size online. Does anyone know where I can find some or where I can have some 3d printed, etc.

Just being curious : Is this for a heat sink without any mounting arrangement whatsoever? No screws? No spring that need a carving throug the whole length or something? What motherboard model is this anyway?

Also be aware that many components may be complete fine with 50-60 degrees surface temperature. Do you have any actual measurements that indicate you need extra cooling?

You can get heatsinks with pre-applied thermal tape or you can use a tube of thermal adhesive. This is semi-permanent so caution is to be used.

Doesn't hurt to add heatsinks to naked VRM modules, just makes them slightly more efficient.
