I have built a new pc and every time I try to boot into windows, it says:
“Windows has failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause. To fix the problem:
  1. Insert your windows installation disc and restart your computer.
  2. Choose your language in settings, and then click “next.”
  3. Click “repair your computer.”
If you do not have the disc, contact your system administrator of computer manufacturer for assistance.
File: \EFI\Microsoft\boot\BCD
Status: 0x000014c
Info: the boot configuration data for your PC is missing or contains errors.”

This is a new ryzen 3 2200g custom built pc and I am trying to install windows 10 from a usb stick. I have managed to boot into Debian and I would like to set up dual boot with windows as well. Can anyone help?

Assuming that your USB stick was created with the Windows 10 Media Creation tool, then I BELIEVE you have to do a clean-install of Windows 10 first... then install Debian, which will allow you to set up as dual-boot.

At least, I don't THINK that Windows 10 plays nicely being installed second, and allowing dual-boot with another OS. Can't say I've ever tried it that way with Win10, though.
