[SOLVED] I have ping issues on Roblox ?

My ping on Roblox is usually around 50-100ms, which is completely usable, but I generally have spikes up to 600+ ms regularly, the only way I can currently fix it is by using a 5G hotspot, but that is a band-aid solution since I will eventually run out of hotspot data. I know there was another thread talking about this, but the suggestion was to just use ethernet. I do not have the option to use ethernet, and my router is in the same room as my PC so I'm not sure what the problem is. Sometimes, I will even get completely disconnected, and it is very frustrating.

You can only try yourself. Change your VPN exit server location and see if there is any improvement

I tried it and it seemed to help. I need to do more testing though.

Thank you all so much for your help. I've learned a lot. I don't see an option to mark a solution. I may have made an error when creating the thread. With that said, I would love to learn more about networking in general, but I don't know where to start, or even what questions to ask.

I should note, that enabling the VPN does increase ping by about 30-50ms, and I'm sitting at about 250-300ms with the VPN on, but it's more playable than it was before despite the higher ping, since there are no horrible spikes.

The best server I found so far, is a server in Arizona, with a ping of 100-150 ms, if anyone else is having these issues and decides to try (and pay for) protonvpn.
