So a while back I wanted to transfer windows 10 from my hdd to my ssd. I did everything correctly however after I copied windows 10 I forgot to change over to boot on my ssd. (Now while I’m still booting on my hdd even though I thought that I was on my ssd. Keep that in mind. ) I thought that since I have already transferred windows 10 to my ssd I would just delete everything on my hdd. This would have been the case if I was on my ssd. However since I was on my hdd it deleted everything from the desktop and basically wiped my computer and I panicked because I thought that I had already copied everything. Since I thought that everything was gone I decided to re install almost everything and then a couple days later I realized that I was still booting slow so I checked my bios and I was still booting to my hdd. So I swapped over to my ssd as my main boot drive and everything was back. However without giving it a second thought I went on and it’s been a couple of months now and I’m finally realizing that I still have that old copy of windows 10 and basically another computer in my hdd. Unfortunately I have so many other apps and things now that I can’t just wipe the drive. I was wondering if there is a way to wipe my old windows 10 that is on my hdd and will that also wipe all the data from that “other” computer ( remember that I had installed a lot of things on my hdd again) while still keeping my files that I have now?
