[SOLVED] If I swap a drive, but name it the same, will programs be able to use the file path still?

Just took out an HDD for storage and replaced with an SSD.
It held the Music,Pictures,Downloads,Videos user folders.
I assumed that as long as I named it the same thing "(D Storage" and put everything back right where it was before, that programs that utilize that file path will still be able to find what they need to.

Is this assumption correct?
