Question Installing Windows 11 Home on NVMe + ASRock B650M Pro RS + AMD Ryzen 5 7600X

Hi all! Long time a lurker and a first-time poster.

I'm building a new PC for myself, and it's been over a decade since I last built one.

I have everything installed, but I'm having issues installing Windows 11 onto my NVMe drive.

Motherboard: ASRock B650M Pro RS
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7600X
Hard drive: WD_BLACK 2TB SN850X NVMe

I downloaded Windows 11 and created a bootable USB on my MacBook Air M1 by following this - https://computingforgeeks.com/create-bootable-windows-11-or-10-usb-disk-on-macos/.

What am I doing wrong? I've tried a few different things after looking around on Google. Anybody with ASRock experience and advice would be greatly appreciated.

Bummer... I tried but it says my MacBook Air doesn't have the requirements to install Windows when I was loading the ISO in UTM... I tried installing VMware Fusion 13 Pro from Broadcom, but the app didn't launch without issues.

Are there other ways I can get Windows installed?

Is this due to the Windows 11 bootable USB being corrupted or something?

Borrow someone's PC and use Rufus: https://rufus.ie/en/
Or ask them to do it for you on their computer.

It's probably the most dependable utility for creating bootable Win 10/11 USBs.

Windows 11 requires TPM (Trusted Platform Module) to be enabled.
BIOS/Advanced/Trusted Computing.

Yes but in that case setup would close with a message the PC does not meet requirements. Judging by the screenshot, that is not the case here.

Screenshot just shows "Installation was cancelled".
We're not being shown the actual error message.

This is what happened when I made the switch to Apple 10+ years ago, and now I want to have a Windows PC again. I do have a PC for work, but everything is locked down, so I can't install anything on it. Most of my family and friends have made the move to Apple.

Hey all! Quick update. I was able to have a friend of mine let me use their PC and create a bootable USB. This worked and now I'm up and running on my new PC. Thank you all for the tips!
